Thought About Tom Miller

04.03.08 (2:23 pm)   [edit]

The Mysterious Tom Miller was a second set of serial novels I started working on last August 2005.

It was first thought of when I was having my duty in the hospital. I never knew that the character of Tom would ever surface. I was getting a bit bothered by him because he always keeps popping out of my head. He won't stop tormenting me unless I write a book about him. Because I've had a set of series planned when i was still a high-school student.

But there it goes, the second series have already been in the works. I am currently working on the first book which I would name "The Mysterious Tom Miller" which I picked from a long list of titles I prepared.

Tom Miller is a normal boy and a total lover of books and video games. He was always bullied by his classmates at school. And he was always helpless even at home where his uncle always pick on him. But as the story moves on he found out that he had the ability to produce fire everytime he was enraged...And that's that.

I plan to write a seven part novel on these series. But these novels will be a much shorter one compared to my originally planned series which is " The Cloudflies".

I was inspired to this during the wake of the TV series Smallville and the blockbuster movie Spider-Man. Tom in this book will be a teen superhero that will fight his way through middle-school and high-school. I entirely based Tom in my personality. Also my past experiences were told in this story through Tom. This book will tell more about teenage angst. And I tell you that Tom will be struggling to fight through all of these.

Well, the seven part series of Tom Miller may seem a bit cloudy right now for me because I never have fully finished the entire story in my mind. So I need more focus on this one. I am still thinking of how to end the first book and I hope that you would like these if ever they will be published.

My 7 Year Obssession

04.03.08 (1:53 pm)   [edit]

This seven year obssession began when I was still in high school during my senior year. It came to me magnificently as though I was trapped in its ultimate spell.

This obssession was a Christmas gift to me by aunt who I blame this, probably, never ending obssession. It was a wondrous day for me because I myself felt the enchanments rendered in the book given by my aunt. It was the book of Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone.

Philosopher's Stone indeed put me in a daze. Upon setting my eyes on the first words of the book it lead me into a chase that I couldn't stop. The magic was too irresistable. The sly humor, the lovable characters, eccentric teachers and dark lord villains really captivated my childish imagination. I read the book in a flash because I wanted to know the ending so bad. The book gave me real thrills that lasted for weeks. After finishing the book I wanted more so I started reading it all over again.

J.K Rowling's astounding book gave delusions of grandeur thinking that I was Harry Potter myself and kept on fantasizing that I myself went to Hogwats School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Pottermania engulfed me like wildfire and I started to become a fan myself. With just one single children's book it changed the aspect of my life.

That Christmas was one of the memorable moments I ever have. I won't forget the night I read Harry Potter and I was waiting for more.

My Book About the Cloudflies

04.03.08 (1:20 pm)   [edit]
Well bloggers here I am again as usual. I am here because of the reason that I am a certified novelist. And nobody can change that as well. I was born to tell stories to children and to the children at heart like me. Here goes...Four the past--I think five years I've been writing about a story of twins. I formerly formulated the story for one lengthy book only. But as time passed this one book was stretched into a colossal seven. I can say that it indeed is lenghthier than what I initially planned. I loved writing it and I still do. Originally it was inspired through watching the movie Prince of Egypt. I loved the brotherhood relationship between Moses and Rameses which I directly applied to my voluminous novels. Also the creepyness of Diablo II PC game inspired me also for the original medieval setting which I changed to medieval-present-space setting(You'll get it if I ever get them published). This is unlike Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. Its more of like a fusion between the two and I enjoy imagining it. The main characters here go by the names of Adam and Nemesis Cloudfly and the only twins in the entire galaxy of Syno-Divini. They live in a city in the system of Redstar in the planet of Lionheart called Phoenicia. But enough of all that. The title of the book was known as Twisted Fates. But when time flew past I realized that the title was more of a bummer. So I later changed it to The Cloudflies. Just last year I was done with my first masterpiece which I treasure like a child. It was the first complete novel that I've done. I sometimes would never sleep especially when I was finishing it up. I rarely would have a good night's sleep but my work really paid off because I was through with it. Now I am tediously polishing it up. Well some of it may hurt a bit because I am junking some of my chapters and scenes from my first novel. It was cruel for me at first but I saw that these pieces of toiled writings were useless for the story. So I had to dispose them like magic. I am currently doing my second novel entitled The Cloudflies and the Mirror of Numian. I consider this novel a great deal because when I am thinking of this novel I am being pleased with myself. Also I am writing the fifthe novel in the series because it really bugged me to get it out of my head. Probably the fifth and the seventh book may be the best of all the seven and suffice if to say that I include the fourth one. Well bloggers that's all. I really am looking up to my dreams of publishing them one day. Hopefully some of you would be able to read and love them as I do.Bye-O!
